I’ve really been neglecting my blog lately! Mainly, that’s due to our HHG finally arriving the Monday of Thanksgiving week. Most of my time has been spent settling in to our home properly and arranging everything exactly how I want it. It’s also gotten colder, which makes sightseeing less appealing. We even had a good bit of snow two days ago:
A week ago, we went out to a Turkish restaurant in Itaewon called Ankara Palace to celebrate Domingos’s birthday. The meal was excellent, and we’ll definitely be going back there. We ordered a kebab platter for two, and finished the meal with Turkish coffee (him) and Turkish tea (me).
On Monday, my friend Marie and I went to Myeongdong to do a little shopping and have lunch. We found a place that had very good nasi goreng, one of my favorite Indonesian dishes.
And I’ve been doing some cooking of my own, too. Last night, I made slow cooker chicken tikka masala, chickpeas with spinach, and roasted curried cauliflower:
So that should get you all mostly caught up on what I’ve been doing. I also restarted the Insanity workout program this week, and I’m on a strict practicing schedule so that I don’t lose my viola chops!
