Au Cheval

We were able to meet up with my cousin Ariana one last time on our Chicago visit, this time for brunch at another Hogsalt restaurant, Au Cheval, an upscale diner. Like Maude’s Liquor Bar, we left the ordering in Ariana’s hands, and a tableful of amazing dishes soon appeared. The coffee was French press and nicely balanced, and every single dish we had was out of this world.

Omelette with roasted peppers, espellette, and fresh chèvre – perfectly cooked with a smooth and light texture.
