Out and About in Seoul

I have a lot of catching up to do here! Quick hits on some good food and activities over the last couple of weeks:

Myeongdong Tonkatsu

Pork cordon bleu! Very yummy, and served on a little wire rack so the breading doesn't get soggy.

Hwangsaengga Kalguksu

Tasty dumpling soup with some of the best kimchi I've ever had on the side.

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art

This museums is right across the street from the kalgusku restaurant, so we went over to check out the installation outside the museum, made from part of an old ship.

Coffee in Itaewon

I can’t remember the name of this place – I think it was “5 Spice,” but they offer siphon coffee, which Domingos said was an excellent, very clean-tasting brew. Plus it’s just fun to watch the process! It’s on the main Itaewon drag, pretty far down past the fire station.

Milkshake Nirvana at Left Coast

Last weekend, Domingos and I shared this Nutella S’mores milkshake at Left Coast Artisan Burgers. Best. Ever.
