FabFitFun Box

Here’s a post that is way outside of my normal wheelhouse. I have occasionally looked at various subscription boxes and thought they looked interesting, but for the first time in my life I actually subscribed to one, and it arrived yesterday.

I can’t remember where I first heard about FabFitFun, but when I read a review of their Fall 2017 box, I decided to give them a try. The company sends out a box each season filled with full-size items to try out in the areas of fashion, beauty, wellness, and fitness. I had a blast opening up my box yesterday and discovering all the fun goodies inside, and I will definitely keep up my subscription for now. The box costs $49.99, or you can upgrade to an annual membership – four boxes – for $179.99. The annual membership gives you some choices in items and color selection. You also have access to a library of exclusive workouts (I haven’t tried any of them yet, but I’m planning to). I had found a coupon code for $10 off my first box, so I paid $40 for $393 retail value of goodies. Plus it was so much fun opening the box and seeing everything! If you want to try FabFitFun, you can use my promo code to get $10 off your first box, and I’ll get $15 credit in return.  For those of you interested in budgeting categories, this one definitely comes out of my “Fun Money”!

Without further ado, here are the items that were in my winter box:

Opening the box
8 Other Reasons Nine Lives Choker in Silver ($58 retail); a cute necklace that can be worn longer or shorter depending on your mood
Here’s the necklace on at a slightly longer length (chokers aren’t really my style)
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment ($75 retail)
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray ($29 retail); I was able to choose either this or a fitness ball – I may give it away because it has lavender in it
Homemade by Ayesha Curry Ceramic Mug ($16 retail); a nice, oversized mug with a great message
Nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Hair Mask – Coconut Scent ($23 retail); I can’t wait to try this as my hair feels really dried out right now
Pointe Studio Aloe Infused Cozy Socks ($19 retail)
DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette in Smokey ($70 retail)
AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream ($33); a nice large size, and it feels and smells amazing
BB Dakota Poncho in Charcoal ($70 retail); I am not really a poncho person, but this is great for around the house in winter – lightweight but warm
Here’s a better look at the poncho spread out a little on my floor; it’s reversible!

So there you go, a sort of fashion/beauty blog post from me! I think the only one I’ve done before was on Korean beauty products. I’ll continue to share my FabFitFun boxes each season as long as I keep up my membership. And remember to use this link if you want to try it out so that we each get a little something extra!
