Last weekend was the 67th Anniversary of the start of the Korean War, and Domingos and I attended a service in honor of the date at Jamsil Arena on Sunday morning. Some of his soldiers were performing alongside ROK military musicians, which is how we scored the invitation.

This week, I finally made it out to the Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village in Incheon. It’s a long train ride out there, but well worth the trip.

After taking the subway back to our hotel area, we grabbed a quick fried chicken dinner before our “Busan at Night” tour picked us up. It turned out that we were the only people on the tour, which was lovely! We drove to the Gwangalli Beach area and got on a “yacht” (not really) for a short tour around the harbor, which gave us great views of the Diamond Bridge, beautifully lit up.
