A Climb up to N Seoul Tower

After a delicious lunch at Myeongdong Kyoja, Dirk, Tracy, and I decided to tackle the walk up to N Seoul Tower. There were a few stairs along the way!

I actually only went up there once before, with Domingos, and we took the cable car up. It’s definitely a bit of a workout getting up there!

We lucked out with the sky giving us some incredible shots – sunbeams, clouds, great variety.

Once we reached the tower, we decided to go ahead and get tickets up to the observatory. I love this photo, taken through the glass window of the observatory. It looks like a scene from a dystopian sci-fi film. img_3190

And I love the sunlight illuminating that one area of buildings in this shot.img_3191

This was my “artistic” attempt of the day – getting the love locks in the river shot. img_3195

My ever-photogenic brother and sister-in-law. Love the Korean kid posing in the background. img_3200

We hung out at the tower for a while, drinking coffee, reading, and enjoying the lovely weather. We were hoping to catch the taekwando show at 4:00, but it must have been canceled due to the intermittent showers.
